Daxiang Design Studio introduces Kylin Sheng,
a revolutionary catering concept that taps into the spiritual needs of modern
diners. This strategic model, centered around the mythical "Kylin"
from The Classic of Mountains and Seas, brings a unique ambiance to
"Zhongyuan Restaurant - Cloud Sea Secret," blending culinary delights
with poetic light and shadow.
Upon entering Kylin Sheng, guests are greeted
by a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. The journey begins in a dimly
lit hallway featuring a massive cloud formation, accentuated by warm lighting.
This atmospheric setting is further enriched by two Kylin sculptures,
symbolizing etiquette and guiding visitors through the restaurant.
The design captures the dynamic essence of
clouds, from formation to dissipation, transforming these ethereal elements
into tangible structures. Garden framing techniques on windows enhance the
natural aesthetic, creating a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor beauty.
The five-petaled plum blossom serves as a
central motif throughout the restaurant, influencing the design of framed
landscapes, lamps, utensils, tableware, and floor coverings. These elements
come together to create a cohesive and poetic space, embodying the restaurant's
serene ambiance.
The rest area evokes a warm autumnal
atmosphere with dark grey natural stone, a wooden tea table, and vermilion
cloth tea stools. Decorative paintings of rosy sunrises and a flickering stove
fire add to the cozy setting. The outdoor resting platform, connected to a
secondary entrance, features plum blossom motifs and arc elements that
illuminate the space with starlight and moonlight, providing a tranquil retreat
even on chilly autumn nights.
