The 55th CIFF Guangzhou is set to present an unprecedented showcase of design innovation and industry leadership in March 2025, transforming the Canton Fair Complex into the world's largest and most comprehensive platform for the global furnishing industry.
The 55th China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) will be grandly held in two phases from March 18-21 and March 28-31, 2025, at the Canton Fair Complex and PWTC EXPO in Pazhou, Guangzhou. With a focus on "Design Trend, Global Trade, and Full Supply Chain," and centered around the theme of "Powered by design", this year's exhibition aims to showcase innovation with four key words: "Specialization, Excellence, Quality, and Substance." Spanning 90 exhibition halls and covering 850,000 square meters, with over 4,700 participating brands, CIFF Guangzhou continues to hold its position as the world’s largest furnishing exhibition.
Beyond Full Chain, Toward Specialization : Three Brand Shows
First Phase (March 18-21): Home Furniture
The Home Furniture, themed "Navigation," will explore six innovative highlights through design and space:
1. New Mission of Design - The CIFF Contemporary Design Fair covers 40,000 square meters across Halls 2.1-5.1 in Zone A, featuring over 60 commercial design brands, 40+ international design brands and studios, 20+ designer brands, and more than 200 designers. Seven meticulously curated exhibition areas - East Design Show, CMF Trends LAB, Aesthetic Exhibition of Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills, Green East, DESIGN UNITED, DESIGN DIMSUM, and DESIGN EXPORT - create a comprehensive platform where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary innovation.
2. New Debut of Imports - The International Pavilion spans 30,000 square meters across Halls 6.1-8.1 in Zone A with more than 100 manufacturers from countries including Italy, Singapore, the United States, Malaysia, Australia, India, South Korea, and Turkey, celebrating diverse cultural influences and global design perspectives.
3. New Track for Upholstery - The Upholstery area occupies an impressive 130,000 square meters and features nearly 330 domestic and international brands, including industry leaders such as Kuka, MANWAH, HTL, and other prestigious brands. A unique "Sofa Plus" section will create an S-shaped journey through Halls 9.3-11.3, offering visitors an immersive experience of global sofa innovations. The Smart sleep zone takes center stage with 10,000 square meters, showcasing cutting-edge products including smart mattresses, intelligent beds, monitoring systems, and advanced sleep technology solutions.
4. New Face of Dining and Living Room - The Dining and Living Room spans 120,000 square meters, featuring more nearly 800 manufacturers across specialized zones. The dedicated Dining Room Design Hall in E1 and Living Room Design Hall in 15.2 showcase the latest innovations in residential spaces, while a groundbreaking E-commerce zone in Hall 14.1 serves as a strategic platform for international trade.
5. New Trends in Interiors & Decorations - The Home Decor & Home Textiles located in Area D is the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in China, featuring over 500 exhibitors under the theme "Renewal," with innovative presentations on interiors & decorations aesthetics.
6. New Ecosystem for Outdoor Living - The Outdoor Furniture, Sunshade & Leisure in Area B, themed "Exploration," will cover the full spectrum of outdoor furniture, outdoor sunshade, garden decor, grills, and camping gear, dedicated to becoming Asia's largest and most professional outdoor furnishing exhibition.
Second Phase (March 28-31):
Office and Commercial Space
Under the theme of "Sustainability," the globally top-tier Office and
Commercial Space will span over 240,000 square meters, featuring more than
1,000 exhibitors across 24 halls. Key highlights include high concentration of
top brands like Sunon, CJF, and Tiantan; enhanced design content in the
5.2 Trendy Design Hall and 20.2 International
Brands Hall; and sustainability focus through the new " CIFF Luminous Path
" featuring themed journeys promoting Green, Innovation and Fashion concepts.
CIFM/Interzum guangzhou
CIFM/Interzum guangzhou, Asia's largest industry benchmark platform, will operate under the theme "Engine of New Productivity," building a full-chain ecosystem focused on furniture machinery, hardware accessories, and furniture materials. Covering over 170,000 square meters, the exhibition will feature three major upgrades: a lineup upgrade with nearly 300 overseas companies (a 5% increase), including global leaders like Opk, Homag, and Biesse; a foresight upgrade with curated exhibitions like the 16.3 Design Original hall and CMF Trends Lab_2025; and a showcase upgrade via the " FUTURE FORWARD" themed CIFF Luminous Path, where companies will display personalized creative spaces highlighting the latest manufacturing trends.

CIFF Guangzhou promotes Chinese original design globally as enterprises upgrade their product, design, and brand power. The fair emphasizes the CIFF Contemporary Design Fair to enhance Chinese design brands' international influence and shift from "product export" to "brand export." This year, twelve themed design exhibitions, curated by experts like Zhu
Xiaojie, Li Ximi, Jamy Yang, Yu Lizhan, will explore trendy topics such as folk arts, sustainability and
AI applications. The "2025 CD Awards Ceremony" will recognize
outstanding furniture design contributions, accompanied by a design trend forum
exploring new home furnishing directions.

The 55th CIFF Guangzhou drives industrial innovation by focusing on new
productivity during the transition between old and new economic dynamics. The
fair highlights smart consumption with dedicated areas for smart sleep, smart
sofas, smart offices,
and smart health equipment, while addressing
elder-friendly solutions through specialized sections
for home adaptations and medical care. Environmental
sustainability is showcased through innovative bamboo home furnishings and the
" CIFF Luminous Path " sustainable thematic journey. The fair
organizes activities like "Voice of Design Community," "Elites
Talks," and "New Product Launch," while
collaborating with institutions to release trend reports on home furnishing and
smart manufacturing.
Beyond Quality, Toward Substance: Global Trade
CIFF Guangzhou attracts over 380,000 professional visitors from 200+ countries
annually, serving as a comprehensive exhibition for traditional and emerging
trade channels. The 2025 fair has upgraded the CIFF Interbiz Club for overseas visitors,
offering a "IBC Matching, IBC
Media, IBC Manager"
system based on an 8-day exhibition plus 365-day service model to facilitate
